  • Benefit Dinner - Saturday, March 6, 2010
    Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 6, 2010 to attend our 3rd Annual Benefit
    Dinner.  Our dinner this year features speaker Tom Strauss, President and CEO,
    Summa Health System.  Plan on joining us for a delectable meal served by the

  • "Pack the Pool" at LifeCenter Plus -  Saturday, February 27, 2010
    Bring non-perishable food items to LifeCenter Plus in Hudson on Saturday,
    February 27th from 9:00am until 12:00pm and help fill the Kiddie Pools. Click Here

  • "Take A Loved One to the Doctor Day ®" - Tuesday, April 6, 2010
    Radio One Group WZAK 93.1 and OPEN M are collaborating to bring "Take
    A Loved One to the Doctor Day®" to Akron.  OPEN M will host this event for
    the second year on Tuesday, April 6th from 10:00am until 5:00pm.  Click Here

  • "Project Homeless Connect"  - 3rd Annual Event
    A one-day, one-stop event designed to provide services and hospitality for
    people experiencing homelessness will occur on Tuesday, April 27th.  For the
    third year OPEN M is participating in this event by collecting mens, women's and
    children's socks.  We ask that you deliver your sock donations to OPEN M by
    4:00pm on Friday, April 23rd.  OPEN M will join with over 50 participating agencies
    at The Chapel located at 135 Fir Hill, Akron, OH 44304; where nearly 1,000 people were helped last year.

  • Walk for Kids...Fighting Poverty One Step at A Time - Saturday, May 15th at the AKRON ZOO
    Help continue the work of OPEN M's mission by participating in our Walk for Kids...fighting poverty one step at a time
    event that will take you strolling around the Akron Zoo.  For updated information Click Here.   Hey, are you energetic and

  • Christmas for the Love of Children
    THANKS to all who sponsored children and helped spread holiday cheer. This year with the help of our sponsors
    and donations we were able to assist over 315 families celebrate Christmas.
