Volunteering

"Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for
whatever good he does…"     -
Ephesians 6:7-8

We have many dedicated volunteers who serve the people in this community. Most of our volunteers come from our
covenant churches and covenant businesses, but we also have volunteers from various area schools like Archbishop
Hoban, Revere, Springfield, St. Sebastian, St. Vincent-St. Mary, Stow-Munroe Falls High School, and Walsh Jesuit.
Likewise, volunteers from non-covenant churches and businesses help us tremendously as well.

We have three major fundraisers  (1)
The Walk for Kids, which  was created to raise money in order to help with the
mental and physical growth of children in the community;   (2)
Golf Outing, a fundraiser for our free clinic  and (3)  Fall
Fest
(luncheon, auction/raffle and fashion show) benefits all programs.

We had over 500 volunteers work with us in 2008. These volunteers worked a total of 22,200.38 hours worth
approximately $445,871.45. Some volunteers worked here one or two times while many of these people volunteered
faithfully week after week. OPEN M truly would not be able to exist as it does today without each and every person
willingly to give of his or her time and talent.

There are many different volunteer opportunities at OPEN M.   You may be interested in volunteering in the food
